| | No one but you, We will rock you Live cast | ] | Has been quite a while, what has happen? Well I am very lazy, but thats really not a good excuse. Well I am writing a book about 2 worlds coming together with magic and myth as the centre of it all, it is coming along nicely, I have a friend who is helping to draw some of the charactors, this I hope will help inspire me more. I have also just done a complete re-install of my computer, Roller Coaster 3 just kept crashing, I have no idea why, but after the install it seems ok, may have to test it a little more (sounds like a good excuse to play it more. Once it is working ok I may have to update my website with some of my coasters and stuff, so I can share my greatness with everyone......Yeah right..Like anyone will believe I'm great.
Just got a new fridge freezer, the old one was small and filled up to quick, our new one is fab, and massive, and holds lots of beer. Always good.
Work is still pants, when will the goverment realise we can only do so much with so many staff, last week alone we had 3 violent gits in the jobcentre, and only one got banned, and thats only because he tried to headbutt a member of staff.
I also get massages now, which I find really helpful for my back problems, I can really recommend them to everyone, they are really great.
Oh not sure if I mentioned it, I went to Scotland and in the zoo there they got Koala's, and they are sooooooooo cute, so goto Edinburgh zoo and see them. At last I have seen my fave animal in the world, I am happy.
Looking forward to going to Manchester later this year to visit Purple Spider and Tsunami Girl, will be nive to see them again. |

Well we have just boooked a holiday to Scotland, so we can see koalas at Edinbourough zoo, and see the fab castle, and I just got a copy of the entire Mysterious cities of gold tv series on DVD, had a quick watch of a little bit to see the quality, and it looks like video quality, with good sound, which is great because DVD's were not about when it was shown on telly. So my spare time may be taken up by searching for the Mysterious cities of gold, and looking for cute Koalas in Scotland. |

| spain and Sea lions |
[May. 23rd, 2005|08:29 pm] |
I'm sitting in The caribe resort Hotel in Spain, near Portaventura theme park. It is very hot, and I've got a bloody tan, tried hard not to get one, but there you go. Today me and Suede went swimming with Sea Lions, and they are soooooooo cute. First of all we met Minnie, she was 20, and almost blind, but she was soooo nice. Then we met Phillippa and her baby, who argued over who was the prettier of the two. We also met Estefan, who was a huge male and he liked kissing everyone, except Suede, because her hair interfeared with his whiskers and confused him. If thats not a poor excuse, I don't know what is? All the females kissed us as well, but they were not right for me, they had a bad case of fish breath.
May update agian when I get home tomorrow. |

| Gonna get Medieval on your ass |
[Feb. 4th, 2005|05:57 pm] |
Yes last Saturday I had a Medieval Banquet is St Katherines Dock in London, what a 'kin fablous night it was. 20 of us went along, saw such things as a 776 year old strong man, and he was impressive, a fire eater, 2 men having a sword fight, and loads of wonderful wenches. The whole evening from start to finish was amazing, the staff were all great, got right into part, our wench was great, she was so energetic, and looked after us all really well, the costumes the girls and guys wore were all great, the only down side is the free beer was shit, bloody awful, but the wine and cider were ok, but the food was lovely, drank the soup from the bowl, the chicken main course was really nice.
The thing that makes it so good are the staff, they make everything link so well, and they entertain even better. I will go back again, next time I will dress up all medieval. Maybe as a wench, well OK maybe not, but am open to bribes. |

| | bouncy | ] | Well I have had my birthday and am now 30, not as scary as I thought, I have my wife with me, what more do I need. Well I got a new digicam, very fab, the last boxset of DS9 so the 2 series of star trek I wanted I now have, thats DS9 and TNG. I also got ground hog day and Days of Thunder which is cool. And I got Star Wars Battlefront, looking forward to playing that. Tomorrow I am going out with friends from work for beer and chinky, and on Saturday I am getting together with family for a medieval banquet. Both sound very good to me :o)
After all birthdays are a time to spend with family and friends, because with out them you are slightly less, and with them you can be a part of something greater than yourself. However my friends are civil servents, so I am not expecting much, apart from beer and a laugh. :o) Naa they are great people.
My new cam is great, has a fab blue light on it and makes funny noises, so watch out me gonna take lots of pics. Went to Camden yesterday, got some purple shoes with black cobwebs on them, how fab???
Not much else to say |

| [ | mood |
| | contemplative | ] | Been a while, my chum Carmilla slapped me for not updating for a while, so here is an update, last night Carmilla Judas my wife and me got together, and all but Judas drank lots, had a huge chinky, took some nice pics of carmilla in a couple of dresses she liked, and I will send them down later, she also curled my hair with her hair curlers. We watched a bit of Strictly come dancing and x-factor which were both ok. Drank a bit more, had a few outfit changed, and genrally had a great time. Carmilla did report to possibly having seen a huge spider on our chair, but she did say 'I am not sure, I could have imagined it.' So wether a huge spider ran accross the chair is still a mystery, we believw it was a weather balloon sent by area 51. Local USA Govermant official declared that this is there story, and they are sticking to it.
Also upgraded Carmilla's PC, stuck 256 ram in it, a 5-1 soundcard, a dvd rom-cd writer and a fast cd-rom in it. Added a few little tweaks and re partitioned the hard drive, as her root drive has no space left. Wanted to put a 2nd hard drive in, but sadly the tower was built by some sad company that do not concider the user may one day like to upgrade her computer. Silly sods.
Have to say Judas made a very nice Nurse last night (she is so gonna kill me for mentioning this :o) The night was a fun night, but as always went to quickly, need more time for good friends. Which brings me to a tough choice I have to make soon. Which is one private journal, so you need to be a friend. |

| | annoyed | ] | Got home from work yesterday, and a strange noise was emingating from the dining room, so I peeked in and there was water pooring from the lampshade, the carpet and kitchen were soaked, the gerbils had waterwings, and the kitchen light ball was half filled with water. I turned the water off, and looked uptairs to find the cause and the bathroom radiator was firing water across the room and a silly rate. Suede's mum and dad arrived, and we stopped the flow of water to a constant dripping, ripped the carpet up and swore lots. Suede arrived home, not a good welcome. After getting it under controle, not being able to use lights,or the cooker, we went and got KFC. Chips were a little overcooked. Damn what a day, so taken today off to sort insurance and so forth. Also took some shoes back to Tescos, as they were to small. Damn me for having feet. Not much else to say regarding that.
Did however have a nice break at Butlins, saw many bands, including a fave of mine, Dr and the Medics, and Limahl, he sang NeverEnding Story, how cool? There were also several tribute bands, covering madness and bon jovi. We went woith 2 very good friends, Han and Bec, and drunk alot between us. Had alot fo fun, and got to meet the Dr and his band who are all insane and totally bonkers. Got some pics of them with us which are all on my site www.tosky.co.uk feel free to peek at them. |

| [ | mood |
| | excited | ] | Yep guess what??? Yes I saw Chitty yesterday, up London in the Palladium. Have to say was a lot better than I thought it would be, the car was amazing, they way it flew around on stage was great and very clever. Gary Wilmott has a spectacular voice, far better than I remember, then again I mainly remember him hosting a chuildrens program called 'So you want to be Top'. Sadly Brian Blessed was no longer in the cast, but Lional Blair was, and made a very good childcatcher, but his legs are very skinny. Though it was quite good, not sure if I would like to see it again, my main gripe was lack of space for my legs. I am disabled and need to move my legs around a bit otherwise they really begin to hurt. There was no room to move about, and my legs hurt like hell, I know they want to get loads of people in, but I could only just get my legs in. But all in all an enjoyable show, little bit of humour and very family focused, if you have kids they will love it.
Now on to work, after a year and a half of waiting I am finally getting a high level risk assesment, this is because the office desks are built is such a pants way as to not allow them to be set up correctly, yes if you sit there long enough you will permently bugger your neck. As mine is well on the way without there help I think they should do what Health and Safety rules state, and make my desk ergonomically correct. Cant see it happening, but I for some reason am optomistic.
Only 18 days to alton towers with Debs and Lou, so AIR here we come, and me and Suede have a 4 poster bed, how cool, may have to tie her up .
My other friend Judas seems to be getting on well in her manhunt, so far she has killed 4 and is still munching her way through 1 of them. Only joking, seem it is going well.
Oh well me off, have new series of The Think It's All Over on, which is normally fun. |

The good bit is that the goverment paid for them for my job, only need them for pc and reading, but am reliably informed I can leave them on all the time, will take strain of my eyes and stop them getting worse, oh need them also for telly. Oh well, guess 29 not a bad age to get glasses. Went and saw Judas's new home, lovely curtains, nice floral pink :o) he he. She wondered why when she taped Casualty the other day it didn't work, I explained that it might have something to do with the video not having an ariel plugged into it, and no ariel lead from vid to telly. AND she is dating (prelimary stages) a new man, good luck Judas.
Gerbils are still fat, keep giving them things to do, but they still fat, might have to cut down on choccies.
Got shouted at today by another customer who just would not listen, so when she got rude I hung up, felt much better, and also those of you that read this, the person I winged about the other day, is now in prison, no ideas what for, but see what goes around comes around.
Looking forwarsd to Alton towers, only a few weeks away, still not sure what to wear, but I am sure I will do last minute choice as usual, also depends on weather, but cant be to silly as I shall be going upside down several times. Also going with Purple Spider and Louise which should make it even more fun. Finally get to go on AIR.....I can flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Going to Lakeside soon to get wallpaper, need to re do livingroom, walls not been done for quite a while. Looking at silver paper at the moment, but who knows?
Damn my shoulder hurts, bloody flair ups, oh well I'll get by. |

| Hmmmm Birthdays |
[Aug. 23rd, 2004|10:05 pm] |
Well soon I am 30, scary huh, might have to start acting mature, but before that happens I want to do something special for it. Well OK it a little while off, 26th Jan to be precise. But for all good things they need planning, and planning has started. I am wanting to goto a Medieval Banquet in London, get served by Busty Wenches and eat drink and be merry. Dunno bout you guys, but sounds like a plan to me. I want to invite family friends and work friends to, see how many I can get (drunk). In other important news I have been playing Grand Theft Auto 3 on the PC. How silly is this game, you can beat people with baseball bats and so forth, quite sick, and you can nick cars and run the owners over. But my fave bit is you can put your own MP3's in the game to listen to whilst driving. gotta be good.
What else has happened, had a good chat to my chum Judas, who has finally moved out of her family home in to anther family home with her sister. Hmmm this family home stuff makes her sound like a Queen. But really shes a night mare he he he :o)
Cleaned the gerbils out the otherday, they are getting soooooo fat, they only like chocolate, guess thats because there girls. But they are ooh so cute and sweet.
Can't think of much else to write, so I will leave you in peace and I shall sod off.
Bye |

| | None at the moment, but am feeling a little peckish | ] | No many of you (well OK the 3 of you that read my LJ) will know I work in a benefit centre, I advise people about the benefit Job seekers Allowance. I treat all my customers with respect, and try to do the best for everyone I can, if I can bend a rule to help someone I will. I am the type of person who gets a kick out of making someone smile, I like to think I am easy going and genuine. I always try to be fair, and will give a bollocking if needed, I am not going to be walked over. I also know that in this job I deal with people who quite often are down on there luck and are desperate for money. But there is a differance between desperate and being a tosser. I had a person who will remain unanamed because of the data protection act, sex will also be unrevield for the same reasons. This person, had done 2 weeks work, carried on signing and got paid over £500 for this 2 weeks work, he told me a weeks work, and could not remember how many hours and how much money he got ( we found out by calling the person who employed him ) so I told him I could not pay any money to him until this work had bee declared. I also told him if he had worked over 16 hours his claim would be closed and he would have to reclaim. Well he didn't take this well, and he believed I was being petty, and he was not at fault for not telling us about this work he done. So I was in the wrong. He started swearing at me and I asked him to stop, he continued and called me a f'ing C**t (without the start and in its fullest form with thrown in loudness and in a very threatning manor), so I walked away only to have him throw his signing book at me in a similar manor that you would flick a playing card. It narrowly missed my face, and the chap was removed from anywhere near me, taken to another part of our building, found out from then he was going to get no money, so he kicks a hole in the wall.
Now if you did this anywhere else you would be instantly banned, and possibly have the police called, but not us, oh no, we have to go through proceedures, to find out if we can ban him.
Why do people have to be so abusive, and why is it quite often the abusive one get sorted quickly, what are we teaching them? Shout, be a git, throw things, and we'll sort you out. well sod that.
OK Rant over Must calm down, Will form a circle tomorrow with workfriends, we shall link hands and sign Kum By Yaa.
I'm not a hippy, but why can't we all put as much effort into being nice as we do in being gits. I am sure the world would be a better place. |

| I remembered |
[Aug. 2nd, 2004|11:22 pm] |
Today I was reminded about something very close to me. My dad, who died almost 9 years ago. I have already written this once, but my computer decided to delete it, so sorry if it seems disjointed, I am somewhat emotional right now.
I saw a lady today, who told me she lost her husband a year ago today, and was having a tough time, not helped by her friend who said she should move on as it has been a year. (Good friend??????) I shared with her my perspective on close people that have passed away, and I shall share it again. I believe that you love a person with your heart, body and mind. When that person has died, it is impossible to love the body, as it is gone, only the memory of that body remains, but the heart and mind are things that have shaped us all the time we knew them, there love, there words, these are things that change people at the very core of who we are. If a person has died, it is only there body that has gone, the love and the mind is carried on through the people they touched throughout their lives. Therefore by continuing to be yourself, these people live through us. By speaking and laughing, sharing memories on those people they continue to live in our hearts. When you stop remembering, and speaking about them, then they are gone, they have truly died. I take so much comfort that in me is my dad, and if anyone tells me to stop speaking about him, and it’s time to move on, they can shove it up their arses. Sure I remember many things about my dad, good and bad, but I focus on the good, as these are the best bits, the parts I like to have as part of me. I am proud that my dad lives in me, and that he still influences they way I am. I could not tell you the day or month he died, these are not important, why would I want to remember how I felt like my life was being ripped apart? It is all a blur, but I do still go out on his Birthday with my wife, and have a drink, and toast him, I still celebrate his birthday, because birthdays are a celebration of life, and my dad deserves a good celebration. The lady thanked me for a new perspective on life and death, and vowed to speak about her husband as she always had, with love and honour, how it should be, and to hell with her friend, she will respect her, but she must also be respected.
Dad I miss you so much, I miss that you never knew your daughter in law, my wife, I am gutted you did not share my wedding day with me, that you missed my birthday, and that of all our family, I miss that your no longer downstairs for me, that I cant call you to share thoughts about the day, I am devastated that you never knew my wife and her family, which are now our family. I miss you so much, and I hope you are still as proud of me, as I am to be your son, I love the fact that you live on through me, and several of the things that made you who you are make me who I am, because of you I am me, your life influenced me, as I will influence others, and they to will pass on the good that you did, with out knowing, but dad your actions touched the world, they may not know or care, but I do know, and do care. I see everything you gave me, and more. I love you, and miss you, and hurt that I will never feel your touch, or hear your words. But I swear you will never be forgotten.
Remember tell the people you love that you love them, because sad and cruel as it may be, you may never get another chance. |

| | Shrek and Fiona, and a bit of donkey | ] | Hello again, been quite a while since last post, well would not have been so long if the entry a couple of weeks ago went up when I sent it to go, but something happened and it didn't go and I really could not be bothered to re type it all, so I will try to say what has happened from April 20th onwards. Well I have booked up to go to another Butlins 80's week end which I am really looking forward to, this time Judas and Lady Carmilla (Darth Han) are coming we my wife and me, so should be a good drunk week end with great friends, fab music and some dodgy 80's fashion.....Get those crimpers and leg warmers out and party the night away...he he. Oh my wonderous company are still not giving us a fair payrise from last year, so we are on strike again. It is sooo bad, we have been fighting over this rise for over a year, they didn't even have an offer on the table last July when the rise was due, (did the same again this year) and when they made an offer, we refused it as it was pants, so they imposed it with out back pay, so we lost out big time, and just to make us feel a little better they have decided to close 550 of our 650 processing offices, and announce approx 40,000 job cuts. Damn they know how to make there workers loyal. Which in quite amusing after the Whitehall II study, showing a main cause of illness related time of is due to stress, which major participating factors are, Job satisfaction (we get shouted at by various members of the public) Job security (see previous comments about job cuts) and feeling valued. Do you spot the pattern??? If I was a sceptic I might say they are trying to drive us out so thatthey don't have to offer redunancy packets to anyone. But I see the best in everyone, but they are making it damn hard to do that. I have had people threaten to punch me in the face for doing my job, and this person is still allowed to come and see myself and my work friends, despite being abusive, a bully and constantly trying to intimidate us to get what he wants. Is this right???
Ok there goes my winge. My house is over run by Koala's. I have my Koala who is older than me, and he goes everywhere with me within reason, and Suede has hers, but we also have there 2 little ones, another one I got of ebay called Yuki as he looked so cute, Suede also has a brown koala in the bedroom, for xmas I managed to get 4 more from some dear friends (think they may have also been birthday pressies). Any my very dear chum Kerry who is no back from her years travel round the world sent me 10 little koalas through the post, oops and forgot to mention Basil the magnetic koala on the fridge. So there you go, we are over run, I will need to order more Eucolyptus for them all.
If you have read my last message, you will know I had a little mobility issue, which is much better than it was, I am still in alot of pain, but I can walk, until the next time.
Oh well must dash byeeee |
